Overview:
Excellent opportunity for an individual with solid knowledge and experience of Loans Agency and related transactions, to join a large, global financial organisation. The successful candidate will assist in managing a growing portfolio of business. This role will entail managing the Facility and Security Agency function across an allocated portfolio of clients/transactions, including Real Estate, Direct Lending, Project Finance and Leveraged Finance deals.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the Facility and Security Agency function across a varied portfolio of transactions, including (but not limited to) Real Estate, Direct Lending, Project Finance and Leveraged Finance deals.
- Setting up new transactions using the internal Agency Management Monitoring Tool.
- Reviewing loan documentation, ensuring that all operational requirements are aligned with the Company’s offering, and ensuring that sufficient protections and indemnities are documented.
- Closing and managing complex transactions.
- Managing and coordinating the waiver and amendment processes.
- Managing and coordinating loan transfers between new and existing lenders.
- Liaising with and registering/logging communications with borrowers, lenders and advisers etc.
- Liaising with Loans Administration and Business Development departments, providing support to the Loans Administration department, as required.
- Managing and coordinating relevant internal KYC requirements for new transactions.
- Arranging and participating in meetings/conference calls, as required.
- Ensuring that client responsibilities are managed effectively and to agreed client, best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines.
- Monitoring/controlling compliance by the borrower of all agreed obligations, compulsory actions and milestones.
- Assisting lenders in decision-making processes, as required.
- Assisting in supporting and training less experienced team members.
- Ad hoc duties.
Skills & experience required:
- Previous experience of Loan Agency related transaction Management.
- Previous experience of managing a portfolio of Facility and Security Agent deals.
- Ability to understand and interpret a Facility Agreement and associated finance documents.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet agreed deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as using own initiative.
- Syndicated Lending experience and/or Loan Administration experience – Beneficial.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks accordingly.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience with Intralinks/Debtdomain or similar loans communication tools – Advantageous.
