Excellent opportunity to join an expanding, international Non-Banking Financial Institution.  Based in Jersey, the successful candidate will join an existing team and will assist in supporting the company secretarial needs of a portfolio of regulated investment managers, funds and subsidiaries.  This role will entail managing the delivery of company secretarial services in accordance with Jersey Companies Law and agreed terms of business.

Responsibilities include:      

  • Working closely with Boards of regulated Fund Services Businesses, as well as Boards of a variety of regulated funds. 
  • Attending regular board meetings - preparing agendas/electronic board papers and facilitating the production of timely, accurate minutes etc.
  • Attending to Jersey statutory filings in accordance with applicable deadlines, maintaining accurate statutory records, registers and books.
  • Remaining up to date with Jersey statutory and regulatory frameworks and relevant amendments.
  • Developing effective diary and corporate governance timetables in order to manage the scheduling of board meetings and AGMs etc.
  • Producing/maintaining statutory registers for client entities.
  • Assisting with incorporation process for new Fund Administration client entities.
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong working knowledge of Jersey Companies Law, and the regulatory environment.
  • Good understanding of applicable statutory laws and related legal and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Proven track record of providing company secretarial services to all types of regulated/unregulated vehicles.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office package (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
