Client Services / Relationship Management - Escrow/Paying Agent

Overview:

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Payments/Escrow Client Service professional to join a growing team.  Being part of a non-banking financial institution who are going through growth, you will be an integral part of a team with responsibility for the ongoing management of a portfolio of M&A deals (Escrow/Paying Agency), dealing with shareholders, counsel and internal teams on a daily basis.  Our client is seeking someone with a background in liaising with clients, and the daily administration of a portfolio of M&A transactions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing Escrow and Paying Agent related documents.
  • Managing M&A related documents/templates.
  • Managing the lifecycle of the deals from signing/completion through to termination.
  • Updating internal systems / client portals.
  • Managing relevant payments/processes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Liaising with legal counsel and shareholders.
  • Dealing with internal and external deal parties/shareholder queries.
  • Management of audits, as required.
  • Portfolio account reconciliation, including checks and daily reconciliation reports (cash balances).

Skills/Experience

  • Experience/understanding of M&A/Paying Agent related deals.
  • Knowledge of Paying Agent and Escrow Agreements.
  • Knowledge of payments/FX process.
  • Experience of managing a portfolio.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Strong communication skills.​​​​​​​
