Overview:
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Payments/Escrow Client Service professional to join a growing team. Being part of a non-banking financial institution who are going through growth, you will be an integral part of a team with responsibility for the ongoing management of a portfolio of M&A deals (Escrow/Paying Agency), dealing with shareholders, counsel and internal teams on a daily basis. Our client is seeking someone with a background in liaising with clients, and the daily administration of a portfolio of M&A transactions.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing Escrow and Paying Agent related documents, liaising with internal and external counsel as appropriate.
- Management of M&A related documents/templates.
- Management of the lifecycle of the deals from signing/completion through to termination.
- Administering and updating of internal systems / client portals (M&A transactions) as accordingly.
- Managing relevant payments/processes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaising with various legal counsel and shareholders.
- Dealing with both internal and external deal parties/shareholder queries.
- Management of audits as required.
- Ensuring the ongoing compliance of internal system records.
- Portfolio account reconciliation to include checks and daily reconciliation reports (cash balances)
- Bill and maintain a timely receipt of fees and follow up on Debtors as appropriate.
Skills/Experience
- Experience/understanding of M&A/Paying Agent related deals.
- Knowledge of Paying Agent and Escrow Agreements.
- Knowledge of payments/FX process.
- Experience of managing a portfolio and liaising with shareholders and internal/external counsel.
- Ability to prioritise workload, and work well under pressure, in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills and works well autonomously and as part of a team.
- Hands on attitude with a strong work ethic.
