SMC825 – Business Development / Sales Specialist
Overview:
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development/Sales professional, with strong working knowledge of Structured Finance, Securitisation Transactions, Corporate Services Solutions and/or Trust and Agency Services to join an expanding, international financial services company.
The successful candidate will join a growing sales team and will be tasked with generating new sales across Structured Finance/Capital Markets and Agency Services areas. This role will entail developing the existing client portfolio, originating new business mandates and assisting in developing sales strategies to increase revenue across the business.
Candidates will ideally have a strong working knowledge of Structured Finance related products and services and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding Business Development/Sales targets.
Responsibilities include:
- Generating sales revenue across the Structured Finance and Capital Markets service offering.
- Meeting sales targets.
- Developing new business leads – Building a strong pipeline of new business deals.
- Building and managing client relationships.
- Attending client meetings.
- Attending client / industry networking events.
- Preparing proposals for new business opportunities.
- Presenting business updates to Business Heads, as required.
- Remaining up to date regarding market developments and industry trends.
- Ad-hoc duties.
Skills/Experience
- Working knowledge of Structured Finance and Corporate Services Products and Solutions.
- Proven, relevant business development and sales experience.
- Proven experience of meeting / exceeding set sales targets.
- Self-motivated & proactive, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong IT skills.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Experience of reading and interpreting legal / transaction related documents - Beneficial.
